Description
Our large waterproof cable glands are designed for cables with pre-assembled lugs and can be used for all types of power, control, instrumentation and telecommunications cables. Their main function is to act as a sealing and terminating device to ensure effective protection of electrical equipment and enclosures. They are then made of nickel-plated brass on the outside and have a nylon 66 core equipped with NBR sealing material, making the whole very robust and durable, and effectively resistant to rust and moisture. They also allow cables to pass through the gland when in use without any disassembly, making operation very easy and quick.
Features
Our large waterproof cable glands are highly sealed to keep dust out during use and can withstand continuous immersion under pressure. They are also protected by anti-dislodging clips with a tight and deep pattern that improves friction and thus makes the connection stronger and tighter. In addition, they can withstand long-term operating temperatures of -40°C to 100°C and instantaneous temperatures of 120°C. They are also resistant to salt, weak acids, alcohols, oils and other substances and have an overall IP68 protection rating.

Usage
1.Gland can lock the cable, the other end of it can plug into to equipment cabinet, screw threads available upon request.
2.The port is on the inner screw threads of electric equipment. It can clamp cables effectively to be waterproof.
3.It can make wiring connecting and keep cable seal, and assure the cable gland can be in insulation protection,
so that make it safe to work.
4.If the seal is not so good, it will lose oil and make oil-impregnated paper dry, and the humidity will immerse to the inner of cable to degrade the insulation ability.
